Hi. If you are reading this, you are most likely here for one of two reasons. You are either curious about serving a mission and are hoping to be nudged one way or the other. Or you’ve decided to serve and want to do everything you can to get ready and make it a great experience. Whichever it is, this podcast will help. This teaser episode gives a brief explanation of what the Mission Stories Podcast is all about.
Welcome to the Mission Prep Series podcast. My name is Sean. We're going to talk about lots of things regarding the mission on this podcast. It's based on a class that I've taught for many years, based on principles that I have discovered over the years, not guarantee, but lead to Us having an amazing mission experience. My mission experience was so exciting and so fun. And those of my friends and companions who had the same experiences, I've noticed that there's some common things that we did. Some principles, I guess, some actions or some commitments that we all applied. And so we're just going to talk about those. So that for those of you who are preparing for a mission, you can benefit from the experiences we had. Now, some of these things are going to be based in stories. Some of them are going to be based in scriptures, and some of them are going to be based in just lessons. We're excited for you to join us. And really, this is for those of you who are thinking about going on a mission, but you need a little motivation. You need a little excitement. You need to get more energy behind it. So we're hoping to inspire you with these stories and with these principles. And then those of you who are already excited and maybe have your calls, we're looking to teach you some really practical knowledge about how you can serve your mission better and come home and be so excited and so happy and so converted to the Lord because of how we served that it's life-changing. For us, it was life-changing. So welcome. We're going to have content every week and we're excited to discuss missions and mission prep.
